Every October, Colony Air Conditioning & Heating proudly joins the fight against breast cancer.
You’ll see our technicians wearing pink hats, pink shoe covers, and pink ribbons — a small gesture with a big purpose: to raise awareness and honor survivors.
We wear pink in honor of our Vice President, Kathy, who was first diagnosed with breast cancer in 2003 — and is now a survivor.
This year, Colony Air is proud to support the National Breast Cancer Foundation — headquartered right here in Frisco, Texas as the recipient of our annual company donation. We believe in giving back locally, and we’re honored to help an organization that is making a real difference for women, men, and families.
NBCF National Breast Cancer Foundation (NBCF) has the mission of providing help and inspiring hope to those affected by breast cancer through early detection, education, and support services. NBCF helps by offering programs such as the National Mammography Program, which provides free mammograms and diagnostic services, and the Patient Navigation Program, which assists individuals in navigating the complex healthcare system. They also provide direct support through HOPE Kits and support groups. The ultimate objective of NBCF is to ensure that no one faces breast cancer alone by offering tangible resources and guidance at every step of a patient's journey, focusing on helping women with life-saving interventions and support.
