Even after another company made a mess of my unit and told me 3 things needed replacing, turned out to be a severed wire the other company never saw or mentioned. I cannot give a top rating seeing that this was the 3rd visit from Colony in the month and they find something else to add to the charge. Carl was came to the house to diagnose issue with older unit, $89.00, understandable. Then Carl returned to replace igniter, $170, high but understandable. Then Able and Jason (?) show up to check my Carrier and Rheem units. Noted no trap on gas line, another $170. It was state this was noted by Carl. Why was this not communicated to me by Carl or at the beginning of the service call. I understand Rheem unit has not been serviced in a while but the charges are eating my lunch. The dismissal of the discount coupon because I forgot about it until after the bill had been filled out was a little discomforting too. This after $650 in less than 30 days. Am I to expect another $500 charge when my AC is checked in the spring? The 2 service men were timely, cordial, presentable, knowledgeable, and proficient. Sorry they get dinged because of up-selling. By the way, as I understand if there is a change in code, it does not mandate the change be made on the old unit until the unit is replaced. I accepted the change because it makes sense.
