ACCA is the largest HVACR organization in the world with chapters in all 50 states as well as more than a dozen foreign countries. North Texas has its own chapter with a mission to promote quality and professionalism and to help its members become better contractors with specially designed programs and services.

Katherine Everett, vice president of Colony Air Conditioning and Heating, served as a board member of the North Texas Chapter in 2010 and 2011. In 2026, ACCA named Colony Air Conditioning & Heating as the 2026 National Residential HVAC contractor of the year.

ACCA's global goal is to help members acquire and satisfy customers while upholding the most stringent requirements for professional ethics. Specifically, it provides:
