- Energy efficiency—80% AFUE. This is the most popular efficiency level for the North Texas area. While an ordinary furnace will consume 625 watts of electricity during continuous fan operation, the Infinity™ 80 uses approximately the same amount as a 100-watt light bulb.
- ComfortHeat™ technology- provides a nearly continuous flow of warmth in low-capacity operation for a steadier, more consistent indoor temperature. Ordinary furnaces warm your home with a series of full-speed-ahead blasts of warm air that leave your home too warm or too cold. Gas furnaces with ComfortHeat technology operate at low heating capacity up to 90% of the time making the furnace quieter and much more energy efficient.
- IdealHumidity™technology- gives constant control over both temperature and humidity, day and night, in any season. You can monitor and adjust your home's humidity level even when your home comfort system isn't actively heating or cooling. Maintaining the proper balance of moisture in your home keeps you more comfortable at higher temperatures in the summer and lower temperatures in the winter which can save on utility expense.
- ComfortFan™ technology-gives you more control over your indoor comfort by allowing you to select your continous fan speed at the Infinity™ control.
- QuieTech™ noise reduction system- furnace operates at only 51 dB which is between the 45 dB of a whisper and the 60 dB of a conversation. It takes almost seven Infinity 80 gas furnaces operating at the same time to equal the sound produced by one standard 80% AFUE furnace.
